Oliva's Wood Turning and Canoe building.
I started my pen shop as an hobby and found each pen and different woods are a always a challenge and every pen is different even if the wood comes from the same block. My lathe is an old 1948 Shop Smith, which is old as I am, but we both still seem to function well enough. I have built many cedar strip canoes and have been issued in Sept. 2015 issue of Wood Boat, but now I build canoes on request only. Working with wood is now my passion. After this year I can now say I sold my pens both in North American and Europe.
